We are Year 6 learners at Marfell Community School in New Plymouth, New Zealand and our teacher is Mr Knox.
This week we have been writing news articles in Room 2.
We are really happy with our writing and want to share it. Here are the first few pieces of writing.

To support my learning I ask that you comment as follows:
1. Something POSITIVE - begin with a greeting then say something you like about what I have shared
2. Something THOUGHTFUL - a comment that will mean something to me to let me know that you read / watched or listened to what I had to say. Please use any language.
3. Something HELPFUL - give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question
Encourage me to make another post.

Kia ora Room 2. Wow! These examples of your writing are awesome! I love the way that you have set them out like a page in a real broadsheet newspaper. The images you have included made me want to read more about what was on your page. I wonder if anyone knows what 'font' in Google Doc's would make your writing look like it was printed by an old fashioned typewriter? That might make it look quite authentic. Do any of Room 2 still get The Taranaki Daily News delivered to their home? Nā, M
