Room 2 Haiku's

We are learning how to write Haiku's today. We know that Haiku's are focused on a theme. We also know that Haiku's have three lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables and the last line has 5 syllables again.

Below is Mr. Knox's example haiku.

Knox Family Christmas Haiku

The family laughs.

Scoffing food, opening gifts.

Together once more.

To support my learning I ask that you comment as follows:

1. Something POSITIVE - begin with a greeting then say something you like about what I have shared
2. Something THOUGHTFUL - a comment that will mean something to me to let me know that you read / watched or listened to what I had to say. Please use any language.
3. Something HELPFUL - give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question
Encourage me to make another post.
